TMS-LC ADAPTABLE MODULAR SHELTER

The TMS-LC shelter is a natural development of the TMS tent system and shares many of the key system benefits but in a re-packaged form to offer greater versatility and system simplicity. Even in standard guise, all shelters are equipped with fully removable gable ends, permitting direct, limitless end-to-end shelter connectivity. This also allows shelters and frames to be extended in 3m increments to the required length, to create open-plan or partitioned facilities configured specific to role. The shelter is available in steel or aluminium frame variants according to the requirement priority.

SM TACTICAL SHELTER

The SM shelter is a small tactical shelter, often utilized as an entrance, interface or corridor component of larger system complexes. It utilizes the same structure and deployment principle as the larger TM and TMS shelters. The SM shelter is available in single, dual or triple bay systems in 210mm, 420mm or 630mm lengths respectively. Due to its common interface, the SM shelter can interface directly to end or side entrances across the whole of the Utilis tactical shelter range. The shelter also permits easy interface with a wide variety of in service vehicle types, via boot connections.

TM TACTICAL SHELTER

The TM Shelter forms the backbone of the Utilis shelter family. Its advanced, rapid deploy nature and utmost versatility ensure this model remains the most popular amongst first responders and military users. The TM Shelter allows multiple shelters to be connected end-on or side-on and permits quick and easy installation of a variety of different internal liners to a single shelter to provide a future proofed modular system with the ability for easy role reconfiguration. With a class leading setup time of 3 minutes in each of the TM18/TM36 and TM54 configurations, the required capability can be achieved in a fraction of the time that could be achieved by many competing systems. The TM shelter has undergone extensive testing and is in service use worldwide.

TM shelters are inherently flexible, with the ability to interconnect with other shelters to both side and end walls in any desired configuration in order to build up larger complexes, such as hospitals etc. Shelters can be specified in single skin form only, or with additional inner lining and/ or thermal fly outer in order to increase comfort levels. The TM can also be specified with a multitude of accessories such as field power and lighting systems, furnishings, hard flooring, internal partitions and also heating and HVAC peripherals.

TMS TACTICAL SHELTER

The TMS shelter is based around the same principle as the TM shelter. However, its vertical walls provide increased internal volume and increased flexibility of use, allowing bunk beds and large equipment to be positioned directly against the wall, avoiding any loss of space. The accessories and configuration options available for this tent type remain the same for that of the TM shelter range. The TMS shelter is also available with removable gables so as to permit unlimited end-to-end interconnection to create a continuous 6m wide protective tunnel. The TMS shelter can be fully deployed within less than 10 minutes and does not require any specialist skill, tooling or mechanical handling equipment.

TMX TACTICAL SHELTER

The TMX shelter is specifically designed for tactical operations within extreme environments. The shelter is based upon the same broad principle as the TMS, but with a higher strength, low weight, modular truss frame. The shelter provides utmost versatility due to its sectional modular construction, allowing extra structural bays and canvas sections to be added without limitation to give ultimate configuration flexibility. The shelter has pre-positioned doorways mounted within each face, permitting direct connection between shelters and includes hard and soft door options. The system allows tool-free rapid-deployment and is optimised for transport and storage via the widest possible infrastructure means, including 20ft ISO, Bicon, Tricon and 463L Pallet.

TL TACTICAL SHELTER

The TL shelter is based on the same construction principle as the TM shelter but uses additional profiles and build stages to effect a larger deployed volume. Despite its size, the shelter does not require any mechanical handling equipment and all elements are man-portable. The TL shelter can be provided in a variety of forms allowing a clamshell type full end opening, an open ended model with no gables or standard single or dual personnel door access. The deployed shelter provides an 6.8m working width and 4m working height and can be extended in length by additional 5m bay sections. This shelter type is typically employed for command centres, small/ medium vehicle workshops and uses requiring large open-plan work areas. Shelter setup can be achieved within 45 minutes without use of any specialist tools or equipment.

TXL TACTICAL SHELTER

The TXL shelter is a variant of the TL tactical shelter. Despite its size, the shelter does not require any mechanical handling equipment and all elements are man-portable. The TXL shelter can be provided in all of the same forms as the TL shelter; clamshell opening, open ended or standard personnel door access. The deployed shelter provides an 8.7m working width and 4.5m working height and can be extended in length by additional 5m bay sections. This shelter type is typically employed for command centres, drone workshops, medium vehicle workshops and uses requiring large open plan work areas. Shelter setup can be achieved within 50 minutes without use of any specialist tools or equipment.

TMV6 ENHANCED SHELTER

The TMV6 shelter has been specifically designed to suit the needs of longer term camp deployments within austere environments. The design uses portal frame construction technology adapted for military operations, delivering extreme strength and rigidity. This affords the TMV6 an impressive snow load resistance of 110kg/m2 and resistance to wind loading upto 190km/h. The shelter uses a three-layer textile system comprising thermal outer, main canvas and insulated inner liner to effect class leading thermal performance characteristics and unprecedented levels of comfort. All TMV6 components are man-portable and the shelter can be constructed without the need for mechanical handling equipment. The TMV6 model provides a 6m working width and 2.5m internal height and is available in both 5m or 10m length variants. These shelters are typically used for accommodation and office applications.

Hangar Structures

These shelters share a common construction principle to the TMV shelters, and provide a wide range of deployable structures to protect large or high value assets. The shelters can be provided in single or dual skin form for improved thermal performance. The hangars are constructed in modular portal form with fixed, clamshell or concertina door opening. Additionally, these can be provided in streamlined form for solar/ UV protection only. The hangars can be manufactured in traditional vertical wall, apex roofed form, or as sophisticated profiled bay facilities.

Colpro Utilis

CONTAINERISED Systems

In addition to soft walled facilities, Utilis has developed a number of hybrid and hard walled facilities to compliment the existing shelter range and provide further rapid-deploy capability. These allow sophisticated, complex facilities with many technical interfaces to be deployed to site and fully operational within a matter of minutes.
